Lead Network Designer **Company:** The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Lead Network Designer** to join the team in Hazelwood, MO; El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Seattle, WA; or Plano, TX. This individual will be responsible for defining, designing, and validating large-scale, resilient, secure network architectures across enterprise and multi-region environments. This role blends deep technical expertise with cross-functional leadership to drive network strategy, standards, and complex solution delivery. **Position Responsibilities:** * Lead end-to-end network architecture and design for global, multi-site, data center, cloud, and hybrid network solutions * Define high-level and detailed designs (logical and physical), including topology, routing, IP addressing, segmentation, resilience, capacity, and Quality of Service (QoS) * Develop and maintain architecture standards, reference designs, design patterns, and best practices * Perform capacity planning, traffic engineering, and scalability analysis * Validate designs with modeling and lab testing * Lead technology selection and vendor evaluations for routing, switching, Wide Area Network (WAN) optimization, Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Ethernet Virtual Private Network/Virtual Extensible Local Area Network (EVPN/VXLAN), WAN acceleration, and security integration * Create and review solution documentation including design drawings, implementation runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and acceptance criteria * Provide technical leadership during implementation and handover to operations * Troubleshoot and resolve escalated design or deployment issues * Drive cross-team collaboration with security, cloud, storage, compute, procurement, and operations to ensure cohesive solutions * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level network engineers and designers * Particip
