Must Have
10+ years of experience in enterprise network design and architecture, 10+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions, Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN), BGP (Border Gateway Protocal), Python and Ansible scripts for automation, network devices including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls, precedence development, generating operating/recovery plans, capacity analysis, and constraint-based analysis, writing proposals, Request For Information (RFIs) and/or Request For Proposal (RFPs)
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree or higher, Cisco Certified Network Professional/ Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCNP/CCIE) (Service Provider, Enterprise) or equivalent expert-level certifications, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced/Professional, Azure Architect, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Network automation certifications or proven automation project experience

Lead Network Designer **Company:** The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Lead Network Designer** to join the team in Hazelwood, MO; El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Seattle, WA; or Plano, TX. This individual will be responsible for defining, designing, and validating large-scale, resilient, secure network architectures across enterprise and multi-region environments. This role blends deep technical expertise with cross-functional leadership to drive network strategy, standards, and complex solution delivery. **Position Responsibilities:** * Lead end-to-end network architecture and design for global, multi-site, data center, cloud, and hybrid network solutions * Define high-level and detailed designs (logical and physical), including topology, routing, IP addressing, segmentation, resilience, capacity, and Quality of Service (QoS) * Develop and maintain architecture standards, reference designs, design patterns, and best practices * Perform capacity planning, traffic engineering, and scalability analysis * Validate designs with modeling and lab testing * Lead technology selection and vendor evaluations for routing, switching, Wide Area Network (WAN) optimization, Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Ethernet Virtual Private Network/Virtual Extensible Local Area Network (EVPN/VXLAN), WAN acceleration, and security integration * Create and review solution documentation including design drawings, implementation runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and acceptance criteria * Provide technical leadership during implementation and handover to operations * Troubleshoot and resolve escalated design or deployment issues * Drive cross-team collaboration with security, cloud, storage, compute, procurement, and operations to ensure cohesive solutions * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level network engineers and designers * Particip
