Must Have
5+ years experience, Knowledge of FMLA, Knowledge of ADA, Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, Knowledge of state leave laws, Experience with third-party leave administrators, Experience with payroll systems, Interpret and apply federal and state laws, Apply related HR policies, Handle confidential information
Nice to Have
OR, WA, CA experience strongly preferred
What You'll Do.
Serve as primary resource for employees and managers
Coordinate with third-party vendors
Coordinate with healthcare providers
Coordinate with internal departments
Review leave requests
Manage cases in compliance
Maintain accurate leave records
Maintain documentation flow
Maintain communication logs
Act as first point of contact for accommodations
Facilitate ADA interactive process
Partner with employees on accommodations
Partner with managers on accommodations
Partner with Legal on accommodations
Partner with medical providers on accommodations
Determine reasonable accommodations
Work closely with Payroll
Support supplemental pay calculation
Support company-provided wage replacement calculation
Ensure accurate pay alignment
Support auditing of leave pay data
Support reconciliation of leave pay data
Partner closely with Safety
Support Workers’ Compensation claims administration
Coordinate Workers’ Compensation claims
Communicate with employees on claims
Monitor compliance with leave laws
Monitor compliance with benefit regulations
Monitor compliance with internal policies
Contribute to policy development
Contribute to guidance document maintenance
Contribute to manager tool development
Contribute to manager training development
Contribute to employee resource development
Collaborate with People team
Serve as backup to Benefits Specialist
