Must Have
8+ years of professional experience in Java software development, experience working in banking, financial services, or highly regulated enterprise environments, Proven experience providing critical production support for enterprise applications, expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise application development, Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs, knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, Experience working with Linux/Unix environments, Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools, Experience troubleshooting performance, scalability, and stability issues in production systems, understanding of incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis processes, Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, mission-critical environments

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS, Knowledge of ITIL processes and operational support models, Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking or financial services environments, along with extensive experience handling critical production support for high-availability enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on Java development expertise, and the ability to work in mission-critical environments where stability, performance, and rapid issue resolution are essential. The candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, infrastructure, operations, and business teams to support and enhance complex financial systems. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise Java applications. Provide critical production support for high-priority financial systems and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents in a timely manner. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions for recurring issues.
