Full Job Description

Vixxo is seeking a Lead Inventory Control Specialist to work in Dallas, TX Position Summary: The Lead Inventory Specialist is a hybrid role responsible for both in-the-field servicing and managing a small team of no more than 10 inventory specialists. This is a mentoring role to grow into a service operations manager position and will include tasks such as coaching, hiring, and training. For each activity, their service operations manager will review it before implementation to help them learn the role. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills, confidence in systems, effective follow-up, coaching, and meeting with clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete assigned Delivery work, including sorting, cycle counts, and delivery of inventory per the guidelines of the customer. Meet the customer's SLA requirements, including inspections and completion of all necessary paperwork. Manage activities between Vixxo, the customer, and inventory specialists, and schedule accordingly. Field monitoring of employees, interactions with customers, truck, van organization, and work site behavior. Approval of timecards, plan and manage coverage, and manage escalated calls. Hire and coordinate the training of new specialists. Provide coaching and feedback to inventory specialists and conduct reviews. Perform daily tasks, such as reviewing emails, submitting expense reports, submitting time punches, and participating in team calls or chats. Qualifications and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfy each essential duty.
