Experience supporting operating room, surgical, or procedural supply operations preferred., Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred., Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred., Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred., Knowledge of surgical procedures, case carts, and preference card processes preferred.

What You'll Do.

Manage operating room supplies utilized for case cart picking

including inventory monitoring

Partner with the Operating Room Materials Manager to identify inventory needs and coordinate supply chain procurement activities to maintain appropriate stock levels.

Oversee and assist with the restocking and delivery of supplies to Central Processing Department (CPD)

and designated procedural areas.

Provide guidance and support to materials staff related to inventory management

and replenishment processes.

Maintain inventory systems and handheld devices

including updating par levels

and removing discontinued items.

Prepare purchase requisitions for non-stock items

and special order supplies as directed.

Communicate supply shortages

and urgent inventory issues to OR leadership and Supply Chain leadership.

Monitor rotating inventory stock and assist with monthly outdate reviews and inventory audits.

Participate in departmental physical inventories and inventory reconciliation activities.

Respond to supply-related requests from staff and escalate urgent operational concerns appropriately.

Participate in daily operational huddles to review surgical schedules and identify inventory-related concerns impacting procedural readiness.

Collaborate with Corporate Supply Chain staff to maintain accurate product listings and support inventory-related system requests.

Maintain working relationships with surgeons

and operational leadership to support efficient OR operations.

Job Summary The Lead Inventory and Receiving Specialist is responsible for supporting Operating Room operations through the procurement, inventory management, replenishment, and distribution of surgical supplies and materials. This role ensures supplies are available in the right quantity, at the right location, and at the right time to support efficient procedural operations and patient care activities. The position partners closely with Operating Room leadership, Supply Chain, and vendors to maintain inventory accuracy, monitor stock levels, address supply issues, and support daily operational readiness.
