Must Have
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with structural or miscellaneous metals, Previous leadership or crew supervision experience strongly preferred, Ability to read and interpret blueprints and safety documentation, math skills, including measurements, angles, and layout calculations, Working knowledge of AWS D1. 1 standards and welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW), Current welding certifications or ability to pass a weld test

What You'll Do.

Coordinate daily site activities with general contractors and other trades
Plan work assignments

Ensure all work meets project specifications

Act as the primary safety contact onsite
ensuring adherence to PPE and job-specific safety requirements
Confirm field personnel maintain appropriate certifications and qualifications
Conduct regular safety meetings and reinforce safe work practices
Complete daily field reports
and vehicle inspections
Monitor the use and condition of tools
Provide updates on job progress
and overall site status

## Description Job Title: Field Installation Lead – Structural & Miscellaneous Metals Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Pay Rate: Starting at $32.00/hour (higher based on experience) Perks: Company vehicle and fuel card provided Work Region: Candidates should be located near Georgetown, DE; Sterling, VA; Baltimore, MD; or Washington, DC Position Summary We are looking for a Field Installation Lead to oversee crews responsible for installing structural and miscellaneous metal components such as stairs, railings, and similar assemblies. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring installations are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
