Must be comfortable working from heights in bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders, and aerial platforms lifts., Required to be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays., This position is labor intensive. Employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time., Must be comfortable working alongside the highway or median beside fast-moving traffic., Must be able to travel away from home periodically, as needed., Candidates may be subject to pre-employment screenings such as criminal background checks, pre-employment, post-accident & reasonable impairment drug screenings, motor vehicle record checks, etc.

Must Have

Must be at least 21 years of age or older., Must have a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving., Must have your own reliable transportation., Must have infrastructure maintenance experience., Must have at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience., Advanced mot certification is required., Must be comfortable working alongside the highway or median beside fast-moving traffic., Must be able to travel away from home periodically, as needed., Must have excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills., This position is labor intensive. Employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time.

What You'll Do.

perform a variety of tasks related to the day-to-day maintenance

and other infrastructure assets.

maintaining contracted assets

Demonstrates and promotes a positive safety culture by requiring full compliance of the project team members and subcontractors to adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Creates safe Maintenance of Traffic control by setup and removal of traffic control devices including cones

Maintains and repairs highways and other surfaces including potholes

or replacing reflectors

working with concrete and asphalt.

Maintains clean appearance of highways and medians through litter and debris removal and disposal (may use litter claw or another device).

Repairs/maintains functionality of slopes

etc. through use of shovels and other hand or power tools and equipment.

Controls vegetation appearance and growth through use of lawn mowing equipment

hand or power trimmers

and chemical sprayers and other methods.

Maintains the appearance and functionality of signs

and lighting through repair and/or replacement using hand or power tools.

Transports crew and equipment to work sites operating vehicle pickup trucks and specialized motor vehicles and trailers.

Responsible for the proper management

preventative maintenance

and repair of trucks and equipment.

Maintain positive working relationships with the customer

Promote a customer service culture among the project team members.
