Must Have
CPC (Contador Publico Certificado) or Active Chartered Accountant or a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA), 8+ years of experience in accounting and analysis, audit, internal controls, consolidation & reporting, Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, Advanced understanding of SOX 404 compliance and documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with orientation to details, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks, Advanced/Fluent English

Assist external reporting compliance with K-IFRS and US GAAP
Prepare financial statements
Establish and drive adherence to policy
Conduct accounting technical research
Write issue memos for accounting matters
Maintain SOX 404 documentation and testing
Perform special projects
Provide US GAAP support
Assist with annual external audit
Liaise with external auditors
Facilitate quarterly IFRS consolidations

Manage Pension accounting for IFRS and US GAAP
Manage Hedge accounting and footnote
Provide IFRS subject matter expertise
Sustain Lease Accelerator for ASC 842/IFRS 16
Consult and coordinate US GAAP to IFRS
Coordinate with Korean Parent
Monitor new and evolving IFRS standards
Interpret IFRS implications for company
Drive changes in accounting policies
Own development of IFRS accounting position papers
Own maintenance of IFRS accounting manuals

The Global Shared Services team in MBS, India plays a crucial role in this mission, working together with our counterparts across the globe by providing various support services in Finance and Business. This role will be based out of Global Shared Services, Mexico and will a part of Global Finance Shared Services Team, India which provides range of Finance Support services such as Controllership, Business & Ops, Corp FP&A, Treasury, Credit & Collection etc. This role is essential in supporting the External Reporting Team, by working closely and independently to ensure they would impart control and responsibility for all external reporting, technical accounting and consolidation functions: to ensure global financial statements are accurate and complete in accordance with US GAAP and K-IFRS and maintaining a robust control environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accountability, strong work ethics, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
