What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Engineering or Science degree or diploma in an environmental related field, Minimum five years’ experience providing technical direction and influencing operational environmental related risk management, including challenges associated with resource management, technical knowledge of federal and provincial compliance practices and regulations related to air quality, Technical understanding of air monitoring systems, experience with risk evaluations, Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience, proven track record managing multiple environmental projects and budgets, Proficiency in environmental data management, analysis, reporting, use of environmental databases, pre-employment drug screen, three professional references

Nice to Have

Professional designation meeting the BC provincial requirements for a qualified professional for applicable programs

What You'll Do.

executing environmental programs that support compliance in the areas of air quality at the operational level

supports the Asset Environment and Regional Sustainable Development teams in permitting

compliance improvement initiatives

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

Lead the Asset operational air program

Lead engagement and manage relationships with government agencies

and other local communities of interest

Lead document control practices

support training and competency development

Provide technical direction and field support for current and emerging environmental issues

Understand applicable commitments

and associated requirements to inform management decisions and activities

Prepare and submit all required data and reports to meet regulatory and other commitments

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate with, and develop and maintain working relationships with, Asset and Regional teams, and external agencies; Lead engagement and manage relationships with government agencies, indigenous groups, and other local communities of interest
