What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years embedded release engineering, CI/CD-driven validation experience, Calibration management experience, Automotive software lifecycle governance, Experience with CAN, Experience with Automotive Ethernet, Experience with LIN, Experience with LVDS communication protocols, Experience with Vehicle Network tools, Experience with complex problem solving, Experience with data analysis, Experience with access/interpret/drive results, Knowledge of Automotive design, Knowledge of Automotive development process, Knowledge of system requirements, Knowledge of general engineering best practices
Nice to Have
Experience with Artifactory, Experience with Nexus, Experience with cloud-native storage systems
What You'll Do.
Own software delivery for ECUs
Ensure ECU software packages are built
Ensure ECU software packages are validated
Ensure ECU software packages are versioned
Ensure ECU software packages are vehicle-ready
Coordinate multi-ECU release synchronization
Define ECU release baselines
Define versioning strategy
Define software configuration management
Ensure alignment between ECU software versions
Ensure alignment between calibration sets
Ensure alignment between vehicle configurations
Ensure alignment between system-level dependencies
Own ECU build pipelines
Own binary generation workflows
Ensure deterministic builds
Ensure reproducible builds
Manage generation of ECU firmware binaries
Manage generation of bootloaders
Manage generation of application images
Manage generation of calibration datasets
Manage generation of parameter files
Manage generation of variant configuration artifacts
Manage generation of diagnostic packages
Manage generation of service packages
Own artifact lifecycle management
Maintain full traceability
Manage artifact repositories
Enforce artifact integrity
Validate calibration datasets
Build automated release gates
Validate compatibility between vehicle software versions
Validate compatibility with manufacturing tooling
Validate compatibility with diagnostics
Validate compatibility with plant infrastructure
Own system-level regression test planning
Drive root cause analysis
