What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of experience as a Java backend engineer, Expert proficiency in Java, In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, including TDD, back testing and stress testing, Well versed in Agile methodologies, DRY, Clean Code, API design and micro-services, Experience in a full range of tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, Comprehensive understanding of financial products, risk models and methodologies (SPAN, VaR etc), Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills
Nice to Have
Familiarity with event-sourced architectures, Familiarity with columnar storage/databases, Familiarity with cloud technologies, Familiarity with Chronicle Queue, Familiarity with Kotlin, Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers through pairing, collaboration and code reviews
