# **About the Role:** **Grade Level (for internal use):** 11 **The Team** You will be an expert contributor and part of the Rating Organization’s Data Services Product Engineering Team. This team, who has a broad and expert knowledge on Ratings organization’s critical data domains, technology stacks and architectural patterns, fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration that results in a unified strategy. All Data Services team members provide leadership, innovation, timely delivery, and the ability to articulate business value. Be a part of a unique opportunity to build and evolve S&P Ratings next gen analytics platform. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop Java/Spring Boot microservices and full stack applications. * Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend services following microservices architecture patterns. * Collaborate with front-end teams to define API contracts and integration points. * Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions. * Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. * Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps practices. **Required Skills** * Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot. * Experience building and maintaining RESTful microservices. * Familiarity with messaging systems such as Apache. * Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and query optimization. * Experience with containerization Docker & Knative deployments. * Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, and standard CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps / Jenkins). **Nice to Have** * Python experience **Grade - 11 {8 to 10 years of work experience}** **Location - Hyderabad Orion** **Shift Time - 12 pm to 9 pm IST** **Working Model - Hybrid, twice a week work from office.** **About S &P Global Ratings** At S&P Global Ratings, our analyst-driven credit ratings, research, and sustainable finance opinions provide critical insights that are essential to translating complexity into clarity so
