The Lead Eligibility Specialist plays a critical role within the Economic Assistance Department by providing leadership, training, and advanced expertise in public assistance programs. This position oversees and supports a team responsible for determining eligibility, managing programs, and delivering case management services aimed at promoting self-sufficiency and independence. The Lead Eligibility Specialist ensures program integrity and compliance with complex state and federal policies through thorough case reviews, quality assurance, and training initiatives.
