What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BSc. from accredited four-year college or university, 5-9 years of professional engineering experience in related field, OE Automotive/Tier 1 embedded electronics design experience, 5 years or more of focused design for EMC, aptitude for EMC debug and resolution, Proficient in the use of electronic design and development tools, including schematic capture, layout, analysis, and simulation, Experience with electronic circuit debug and test, Experience with requirement management tools, Proficient in the use of electrical engineering equipment such as power supplies, DMM’s, and oscilloscopes, Collaborative across multiple engineering disciplines, Knowledgeable of automotive test methods, standards, equipment, and certifications, Expert knowledge of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet and associated development tools
Nice to Have
Understanding of automotive EMC standards. This includes automotive OEM requirements, CISPR25, ISO 11452, ISO 7637, ISO 10605, VDA 320, ISO 21780, and UN ECE R10., Operated EMC testing equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, RF Amplifiers, Antennas, and Transient Generators, Test software scripting experience with TILE or Python, Expertise with EMC simulation software such as CST Studio and LTSpice, Working knowledge of CANalyzer and programming with CAPL, Experience with Li-Ion battery management desired

We’re currently looking for a **Lead Electronics EMC Engineer (m/f/d)** to take ownership of EMC design and validation for our automotive energy storage products. **Your contribution** This is a **senior technical role with strong ownership** , where you will act either as the **technical lead for electronic sub-projects** or as a **subject-matter expert in EMC**. * Role Focus: Technical responsibility for electronic (sub-)projects or serving as an electronic technical specialist. * Responsibility: EMC design, testing, and verification ownership on several energy storage product areas to ensure all requirements and development processes are satisfied, with minimal guidance. * Expertise: Solid EMC and electronics expertise in automotive embedded electronics with ability to solve complex problems. * Communication: Managing interfaces with other departments and suppliers, presenting technical results. * Special Remarks: Expanded technical leadership tasks being accountable for product cost and schedule. **Responsibilities: What You Will Do** * Perform regulatory and customer requirements analysis and validation planning activities in accordance with automotive functional safety and ASPICE processes with minimal guidance.. * Support the coordination of design efforts and lead the EMC design efforts of functional engineering teams to ensure an integrated hardware system that meets overall requirements. * Create and track component technical EMC specifications for battery and ultra capacitor electronic systems. * Perform design verification activities such as, engineering analysis, simulation, design reviews, DFMEAs, and valid
