Industry & Context.
comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training, work in person in an early education/preschool child care center, provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures and guidance, ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and the employee, reasonable accommodations for qualifying disabilities and/or pregnancy-related limitations
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
CDA with an educational plan to complete associate degree, Twelve units in Child Development, including the core courses of Growth & Development (3 units), Child, Family & Community (3 units), Curriculum (3 units), Principles and Practices (3 units), At least three years of professional experience teaching in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings
Nice to Have
Associate or higher degree in early childhood education or child development related field, Experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center
