Must Have

Expert proficiency with Defensive security tooling (e. g. , SIEM, EDR, Wireshark, Volatility, Autopsy, IDA), Skills such as detection engineering, digital forensics and malware analysis, Proven experience engineering content for Capture The Flag (CTF) events or similar gamified learning platforms, Deep understanding of common operating systems, applications, and system administration (e. g. , Windows, Linux, VMWare, Cloud Services), Highly organised, self-motivated, and passionate about information security and gamified learning, Fluent in the English language (speaking, reading, and writing), More than 2 years of experience in leading small technical teams

Nice to Have

More than 2 years of practical experience within a real-world Defensive security operations (SecOps) environment, Experience utilising orchestration tooling such as Terraform and Ansible, Submitted content in the past or can showcase some related work they've engineered, Engineered offensive or defensive content for CTFs or other learning environments

You will be at the forefront of a small, talented team of content engineers, personally driving the creation of cutting-edge cyber ranges. This mission is critical: to design, build, and rigorously test engaging, complex live-fire and hunting labs that directly upskill the defensive capabilities of our business customers. Beyond your significant technical contribution, you will inspire your team, providing essential support to deliver the roadmap, while fostering their daily needs and accelerating their personal growth through dedicated 1-to-1s, coaching, and mentoring. 🏢 Location & Work Mode: * Options: Europe, US (preferably East Coast) * Fully Remote / Hybrid * Greek Candidates: Those based within 55 km of our (unbelievably awesome) Athens office will follow a hybrid work model of 2 days office/3 remote. For candidates located beyond that radius, a fully remote arrangement is available. **🍺 The fellowship you’ll be joining:** HTB’s defensive team is a relatively new team, established three years ago, and focusing on creating Sherlocks, Forensic CTF Challenges and Cyber Ranges.
