Must Have

3-5 years Reproductive Health experience, RN license valid in California, Nurse Practitioner or Clinician training, Completion of approved Family Planning Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwifery or Physician Assistant program, Current California license as Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife or Physician Assistant, Certification for advanced practice, Current California Furnishing Number, Current DEA number, Current CPR (BLS) certification, Experience as a Clinician III

Nice to Have

English/Spanish bilingual skills desirable, IUD retrieval experience, Endometrial biopsy experience, Limited ultrasound for gestational dating experience, Treatment of molluscum contagious and genital warts experience, IUD insertion experience, Nexplanon insertion and removal experience

What You'll Do.

Provide quality reproductive health care

Model professional behaviors

Lead educational initiatives

Participate in team approach to patient care

Provide exceptional customer service

Provide leadership in designated clinics

Provide advanced sexual and reproductive health care services

Act as first-line consultant for clinicians

Adhere to written medical protocols

Adhere to PPCCC policies and procedures

Utilize SOAP format for medical examination forms

Conduct quality assurance audits

Perform laboratory proficiency testing

Perform and document medical history review

Perform and document review of systems

Perform and document physical exams

Order appropriate laboratory tests

Perform appropriate laboratory tests

Interpret appropriate laboratory tests

Maintain knowledge of medications

Refer patients with abnormal conditions

Comply with abnormal clinical finding protocols

Talk with patients in a caring manner

Deliver services in an unbiased manner

Deliver services in a non-judgmental manner

Serve as clinical resource for HCAs

Serve as clinical resource for RNs

Serve as clinical resource for clinician colleagues

Provide medical consults

Lead emergency drills

Lead emergency training

Act as New Hire Family Planning Clinician Trainer

Develop training plans for medical staff

Conduct administrative tasks

Complete Annual Clinician Peer reviews

Coordinate clinician audits

Perform ongoing assessments

Review clinical schedules
