What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid P&C Brokers’ license or adjuster license, Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a specialist in dedicated industry, Advanced knowledge of Property & Casualty coverage, Extensive knowledge of multi-line coverage and how coverage applies to different losses, Proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite, The ability to provide superior customer service, Excellent client advocacy and negotiation skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Exceptional organization and time-management skills

What You'll Do.
Handle insurance claim matters
Receive and confirm loss filings
Review claim circumstances and coverage
Communicate preliminary coverage opinions
Acknowledge claim receipt in writing
Request necessary documents
Keep claim file updated
Attach documents per protocols
Maintain active diary
Transmit documentation
Follow up calls and emails
Assist client in submitting claim
Attend on-site loss inspections
Field client questions and complaints
Act as mediator with carrier
Provide information for adjusters
Provide insured with settlement information
Review lawsuits submitted by clients
Pursue personal and professional development
Handle Account Executive inquiries
Provide information and loss runs
Conduct client claim reviews
Perform other duties/projects
Respond to emergency calls
Perform Strategic Claim Reviews
Work with Loss Control
Work with Defense Counsel
Consult on litigated files
