What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years of experience in Commercial Building Operations, Prior experience communicating with tenants and/or vendors, Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, Highly knowledgeable of commercial base building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, and life safety systems, Comply with all applicable codes and regulations, Follows OSHA standards for building engineers, Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and sketches, High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma
Nice to Have
BOMI SMT/SMT designation preferred, Obtain required city and/or government licenses or permits
What You'll Do.
Order materials for systems
Supervise work on systems
Supervise minor construction projects
Supervise building alteration projects
Keep associated records
Participate in maintenance contract development
Participate in construction contract development
Participate in service contract development
Coordinate building maintenance activities
Inspect buildings for safety hazards
Inspect buildings for maintenance needs
Inspect buildings for disability access requirements
Prepare plans for remodeling projects
Prepare specifications for remodeling projects
