What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years of related food and beverage experience, leadership and communication skills to manage staff and guest interactions, Experience in ordering, inventory management, and vendor relations, Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve operational issues efficiently, TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification required within 30 days of hire, Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels

This role manages the bar operations, delivering prompt, courteous service in accordance with brand standards and maintaining a safe and profitable environment. **Essential Functions and Duties:** * Interact with guests, solicit feedback, and implement service recovery when necessary. * Execute revenue and check control procedures during shifts. * Assist in selecting, training, and providing ongoing performance feedback to staff, ensuring brand standards and guest satisfaction goals are met. * Utilize tools such as schedules, floor plans, and checklists to manage shift operations efficiently. * Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate specials, hotel occupancy, guest satisfaction scores, and staff concerns. * Resolve daily operational issues such as call-outs, last-minute bookings, and delayed ticket times. * Monitor floor volume and assist with seating, serving, and kitchen communication as needed to ensure guest satisfaction. * Order and manage inventory of beer, wine, liquor, and bar supplies, and manage vendor accounts. * Execute activations and partnership events, ensuring proper scheduling, planning, and preparation based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). * Ensure proper stocking, accurate order delivery, and correct invoicing for all bar orders. * Implement marketing and upselling techniques to promote bar services and maximize revenue. * Train staff on beverage offerings, events, and pricing to control costs and maintain budgeted spending. _Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals
