What You'll Do.
Lead design and execution of automation engineering projects
Provide technical leadership and oversight
Ensure project requirements are achieved
Ensure specifications are achieved
Ensure schedules are achieved
Ensure installation plans are achieved
Accountable for design and development of automation equipment
Ensure solutions meet defined specifications
Ensure solutions meet quality standards
Ensure solutions meet budget constraints
Ensure solutions meet delivery timelines
Partner with Senior Manager of Automation
Support overall strategy
Support design direction
Support implementation of automation systems
Oversee work of Automation Design Engineers
Review design drawings
Approve design drawings
Review installation manual
Approve installation manual
Work with Project Manager/Engineer
Meet project timeline
Lead team in review of requirements
Understand requirements
Interpret requirements
Ensure specifications integrated into design
Lead design engineers in review of design
Lead design engineers in review of manufacturability
Ensure engineering times logged into JP2
Log engineering times correspondent to projects
Perform other duties as assigned
