What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate’s Degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience, 4 years of related experience, Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, and supervisors of the organization, Ability to read and comprehend and interpret moderately complex instructions, Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs, Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists, Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
What You'll Do.
Provide ongoing feedback on performance
Initiate and participate in process development
Coordinate people resource requirements
Assist in department budget planning
Manage department expenses
Communicate daily plan and issues
Highlight material shortages
Interface with Expediter/Purchasing
Recognize and monitor bottlenecks
Report and alert resources concerning downtime
Interface with Test Support/Maintenance
Track time for NPI/Pre-production/re-work
Communicate with opposite shift
Update department communication boards
Follow quality indicators
Stop and alert if indicators below target
Primary contact for response to scrap situations
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Communicate with opposite shift to ensure communication flow; Interface with Expediter/Purchasing on any part shortages; Interface with Test Support/Maintenance on equipment problems
Communication Scope
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations; Communicate daily plan and any production or customer service issues; Communicate with opposite shift to ensure communication flow; Update department communication boards
