Take a look at our job description - maybe it suits you or one of your friends?** ASEC is an international team that delivers actuarial systems used by Aviva business units around the world. The team is mainly focused on maintenance and development of in-house built tolls that support actuarial calculations. **What will you be doing?** * Develop, enhance, and maintain analytical tools using Snowflake, Python, SQL. * Lead the design and implementation of code changes, ensuring adherence to internal code standards and best practices. * Perform actuarial experience analyses of life insurance products and clearly interpret and communicate conclusions. * Plan and own analyses and development activities within a defined business or technical area. * Implement and document coding solutions and key design decisions to ensure product owner and user expectations are fully met. * Act as a senior point of reference within the team, supporting less experienced colleagues where appropriate. **What we’re looking for?** * Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar analytical, actuarial, or data-focused role. * Strong and adaptable coding skills in Python and SQL, or Snowflake (experience with multiple tools is a strong advantage). * Very good analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. * Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with a structured and pragmatic approach. * Ability to plan and manage tasks within a project environment, including prioritisation and delivery ownership. * Solid knowledge of statistics and/or actuarial mathematics * Actuarial exams passed (or in progress) are considered a strong advantage. * Very good command of spoken and written English * Experience or interest in supporting of less experienced colleagues **In Aviva Services Excellence Centre, we provide:** * Contract of employment * Performance Bonus * Private
