Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, Financial statement preparation and analysis, Solid understanding of GAAP, Financial reporting, Tax principles, Analytical skills, Interpret financial data
Nice to Have
Experience in public accounting, Tax preparation firm environment, Familiarity with financial reporting for small businesses, Partnerships and individuals, Knowledge of tax return preparation processes, Required documentation, Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
What You'll Do.
Assist in preparation of client financial statements
Review and analyze financial data
Identify discrepancies
Collaborate closely with tax preparers
Ensure financial statements align with tax return requirements
Assist with month-end closing processes
Assist with year-end closing processes
Ensure financial reports comply with GAAP
Ensure financial reports comply with tax regulations
Communicate with clients
Gather necessary financial data
Address accounting-related inquiries
Assist in developing internal processes
Assist in developing best practices
Coordinate with external auditors
Assist with audit preparation for clients
Maintain confidentiality
Handle sensitive financial information
