**Title:** LCV EUCOM Poland: HVAC Mechanic **Program Summary** **KBR** leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the **Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract** (**LOGCAP**). KBR’s enduring mission support of the **LOGCAP** program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries. **Job Summary** The HVAC Technician supports facilities' mechanical and HVAC asset visibility, condition assessment execution, and sustainment requirements. Operate, maintain and repair site HVAC systems including: air-cooled chillers, direct exchange units, air handling units, filters and chemical biological filters (if applicable), ductwork, dampers, actuators, fans, cold water lines, heating and cooling units, fan coil units, electric reheats, diffusers, vents, variable air volume (VAV) boxes, exhaust fans, supply fans, smoke exhaust fans, fresh air ducts, control valves, cooling coils and ventilation systems for laundry rooms, kitchens and rest rooms. **Roles and Responsibilities** • Perform comprehensive HVAC installation, service, and repair on residential, commercial, and industrial systems, split units, air handlers, rooftop units, exhaust fans, and window/packaged A/C units. • Conduct advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to restore optimal system performance. • Complete refrigerant recovery, recycling, and reclaiming procedures in strict compliance with EPA Section 608 standards. • Install and calibrate thermostats, motors, compressors, fans, belts, pulleys, relays, and control boards according to manufacturer specifications and site requirements. • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including coil cleanin
