What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or or three to five years related experience and/or or equivalent combination of education and experience, Very good understanding of computer programs, Proficient in PC DMIS software for CMM, measurement systems, and portable CMM, Experience in portable CMM and their associated software, Full knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with ability to read blueprints and drawings, Ability to do trigonometric functions, geometry and basic math, Basic knowledge in maintenance of Coordinate Measuring Machines and other measurement equipment including the Keyence Scanner, Must possess a working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Knowledge of MSA (ex: Gage R&R, Bias, Linearity, etc. ), Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematics or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables, Lifting equipment (up to 40 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
What You'll Do.
Provide dimensional layout services
Perform capability studies
Maintain software related to measurement systems
Prepare dimensional reports
Analyze dimensional reports
Initiate corrective actions
Evaluate check fixtures
Develop gauging instructions
Assist with sample submissions
Assist in maintaining gauge records
Ensure accreditation and logo mark is correct
Maintain GageQuest software
Assist in problem solving
Implement corrective and preventative actions
Support continuous improvement plans
Follow and support operating principles
Support efforts to achieve department and plant goals
Perform other duties as required
