Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school, legal research and writing familiarity with Westlaw, Interest in international law, trade compliance, and corporate law, Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
What You'll Do.
Conduct legal research on regulatory and contractual requirements
Assist in reviewing and summarizing key terms of international agreements
Prepare comparative analyses of legal and regulatory considerations
Support due diligence efforts related to international counterparties
Research jurisdictional requirements for establishing and maintaining foreign subsidiaries
Assist in tracking corporate governance obligations
Help maintain and organize corporate records
Draft and assemble routine corporate documents
Conduct research on U.S. export control regimes
Assist with preliminary classification research
Support screening and recordkeeping processes
Help summarize regulatory developments
Conduct research on IP protection and enforcement requirements
Support analysis of IP ownership
and technology-transfer considerations
and transfer-pricing-adjacent considerations
Help organize and maintain documentation supporting intercompany arrangements
Support consistency reviews to ensure intercompany agreements align
