Juris Doctor (JD) degree, Completed at least one year of law school, Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, Knowledge of legal research procedures, Knowledge of legal research resources, Thorough knowledge of LEXIS, Thorough knowledge of Westlaw, Extensive experience with cite checking, Extensive experience with blue book, Experience performing complex legal research, Familiarity with word processing, Familiarity with databases, Familiarity with document review systems, Familiarity with file management systems, Familiarity with spreadsheets, Familiarity with imaging, Ability to deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure
Nice to Have
Experience in Government environment, Experience in Litigation Support environment, Experience with Relativity, Publication of legal writings, Participation in Law Review

Perform complex legal research
Assist in preparing draft legal documents
Review and conduct research for ROI
Conduct research of pertinent laws
Edit previously submitted final decisions
Write legal opinions on newest case
Research legal opinions on newest case
Edit cases for issuance
Review cases for issuance
Respond to citizen letters
Brief attorneys regarding legal issues
Brief attorneys regarding legal theories
Brief attorneys regarding draft statement of facts
Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation
Perform cite checking via online legal research tools
Perform cite checking via blue book
