Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, pressing, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently., attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards., Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift laundry loads, and perform repetitive tasks., Ability to lift up to 60lbs., Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy., Good time management and organizational skills., Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team., Able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as per business demands and needs., Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia and English., Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory., Understanding of workplace safety, hygiene, and chemical handling procedures is preferred.
What You'll Do.
Meticulous upkeep of all linens used throughout the hotel.
Detailed dry cleaning of our guests clothing.
Pressing and dry cleaning of our guests’ clothes and other items per their particular requests.
Sorts used linens into appropriate categories for washing.
Sorts out stained or torn linen.
Loads and unloads driers.
table linens and napkins prior to ironing in order to spread them out.
Feeds washed linens into ironer.
Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens as appropriate.
Uses towel folder and manual folding for bath towels
Places folded product on appropriate rack.
Operates and maintains folding equipment.
Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager.
Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
