Full Job Description
Clow is seeking experienced Laser Operators to join our manufacturing team in an advanced-level role. This position is responsible for independently operating laser cutting equipment, programming and adjusting jobs, and ensuring consistent production of high-quality precision parts in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will also take ownership of more complex work including programming, troubleshooting, prioritizing jobs across multiple machines, and supporting other operators as needed to maintain production flow and quality standards. **Available Shifts** * Shift 16: 3:00pm – 1:00am, Monday – Thursday (+$1.25/hour shift differential) * Shift 21: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Friday – Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential) **Starting rate of pay:** $20.14–$28.68 per hour base rate (based on experience). **What Your Day Looks Like** * Independently set up and operate laser cutting machines to produce precision parts to print * Retrieve and stage raw materials using forklifts and cranes to support production flow * Load, adjust, and optimize laser programs for efficiency and quality * Create and modify programs using CAD and PEP software * Monitor multiple machines and prioritize jobs to maintain production schedules * Inspect finished parts and ensure compliance with quality standards * Troubleshoot cutting, programming, and quality issues as they arise * Remove excess material (detabbing), organize, and prepare parts for next operations * Support prototype, development, and production work across departments * Assist in double-checking parts and supporting other operators to maintain quality **Requirements** * 2+ years of laser cutting experience in a manufacturing environment * Strong ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot laser equipment independently * Experience with CAD programming and production optimization (PEP or similar systems) * Ability to read and interpret prints, tolerances, and job specifications * Strong multitasking ability across multiple mach
