What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of hands-on experience programming and operating multi-axis CNC, Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, 3-5+ years of relevant hands-on experience programming and operating multi-axis CNC machines in a manufacturing or applications environment, Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, customer specifications, professional journals, application reports, or governmental regulations, Ability to write clear technical reports, application summaries, business correspondence, and procedure documentation, Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, sales teams, and customers, Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as geometry, trigonometry, tolerances, and statistical analysis for process validation, Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations, Valid US Passport, General understanding of electrical control systems, AC/DC power, and basic machine safety, Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools, problem-solving skills, customer-service orientation in a regulated medtech environment
Nice to Have
Experience with laser processing (cutting, welding, ablation, marking) is desired, Experience in medical component/device manufacturing is highly preferred, Prior exposure to laser processing technologies (cutting, welding, ablation, marking) is desired, CAGILA experience
