Responsible for performing landscaping and grounds maintenance including but not limited to mowing, pruning, planting edging, cutting, and chemical applications. • Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance as prescribed or assigned. • Install, repair, and perform periodic maintenance to sprinkler and irrigation systems. • Safely and effectively operate lawn mower, weed trimmer, edger, chainsaw, power trimmer, and other equipment used in lawn and ground maintenance. • Safely and properly apply chemicals including but not limited to fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. • Plant grass, trees, flowers, and shrubs using gardening tools ## Qualifications • Prior experience in a similar position preferred. • Must be able to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout shift. • Must be able to safely and effectively operate lawn mowers, weed trimmers, edgers, chainsaws, power trimmers, and other equipment, chemicals, and supplies used in lawn and grounds maintenance. • Must be able to perform duties in direct exposure to the weather which may include periods of extreme heat, cold, or inclement weather. • Must have excellent communication skills. • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications. ## Additional Information Boyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, s
