Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Forestry, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline., Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in horticulture, forestry, softscape, planting, landscape establishment, or landscape maintenance., technical knowledge of plant health, tree management, soil science, irrigation requirements, nursery stock, pest control, fertilization, pruning, and landscape establishment., Experience managing horticultural or forestry works on large scale public realm, parks, infrastructure, mixed use, urban development, or open space projects., Ability to review planting plans, landscape drawings, specifications, method statements, material submittmits, and inspection requests.
Nice to Have
Experience working in the GCC or Middle East region., Knowledge of arid climate planting, native and adaptive species, water efficient landscaping, and sustainable horticultural practices., Experience with tree surveys, tree relocation, tree protection, forestry management, or arboricultural assessments., Experience with nursery management, plant procurement, and plant material inspections., Professional certification or membership in horticulture, forestry, arboriculture, agriculture, irrigation, or a related discipline., Previous experience in a PMC, supervision consultant, contractor, or client representative environment.
