What You'll Do.
Support the negotiation
and closing of complex land agreements
Manage land-related data with a high degree of accuracy
Support land acquisition budgeting
Support project visibility by developing and maintaining reporting dashboards
Identify and implement process improvements
Lead various stages of the land acquisition process
Strategically support the performance of third-party land agents
Collaborate closely with Development and Permitting Teams
Provide ongoing support to Managers and Directors

Intersect develops, constructs, and operates the most ambitious power and data center infrastructure in the country by co-locating industrial demand with dedicated gas and renewable power generation. Intersect was acquired by Google in March 2026 and operates as an independent subsidiary. We are developing and constructing multiple gigawatts of energy and data center projects in the U.S., enabling more data center and generation capacity to come online faster. We’re on an aggressive growth trajectory and looking for people hungry to tackle the largest energy challenges on the planet. About This Role The Land Acquisitions team works primarily in the ERCOT and SPP markets and on a variety of technologies including wind, solar, storage, OGM, transmission, and data centers. The scope of the team covers full cycle development from early-stage strategy through to start of construction, with a primary focus on site selection and acquisition to maintain schedule, budget, and economic value of each project.
