Full Job Description
**Mungo Homes has a new opening for a Land Entitlement Manager in the Columbia, SC market!** This position is responsible for managing the entitlement process of all land / lots under contract while also managing and tracking externally developed lot communities through development and completion. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Manage the entitlement process through completion on all projects. * Manage engineering consultants to complete entitlement. * Work with land planners and engineering consultants to prepare site plans for city review and approval. * Develop and use a consistent methodology for projecting lot costs on LPP’s. * Investigate the quality and characteristics of land and lots to determine feasibility for development and acquisition. * Oversee the completion, submittal, and approval of zoning applications, including rezonings, PUD, plat, variances, and amendments. Provide details and assist in presentation preparation. * Oversee the coordination with municipal staff on timelines and application processes. * Coordinate with civil engineering, geotechnical, and surveying consultants. * Manage the entitlement tracker and due diligence files. Keep thorough and organized files through the entitlement process. * Prepare for and conduct the weekly Entitlement Meeting along with the monthly LPM Meeting and Community Review Meeting. * Attend meetings related to entitlement for both internally and externally developed lots including weekly update meetings. * Attend field site meetings for external lot purchase deals. Attend meetings with external developers as needed. * Conduct meetings as needed with other members of the Land Development Team, Production and Sales Staff, and external developers as needed to resolve any issues related to external developments. * Track all punch list and problem items related to external lot developments. * Monitor the progress of the installation of dry utilities in externally developed subdivisions and update th
