This role will be responsible for preparing and cleaning up construction sites, moving materials and equipment, and performing demolition, excavation and compaction activities. Reporting to: Foreman or Superintendent Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Support tower crane operations by rigging and securing loads * Signal crane operator using hand signals and/or radio * Inspect rigging equipment and ensure safe lifting practices * Assist with material handling on site * Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas. * Erect/install and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites. * Place and vibrate concrete. * Assist tradespersons such as carpenters and cement finishers in construction activities. * Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel. * Assist demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean, and pile salvaged materials. * Operate jack hammers and tampers as directed. * Pump water. * Maintaining a clean construction site. * Maintain organization of storage containers. * Additional duties as required. * Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner. * Adhere to Clark Builders’ policies and procedures.
