Must Have

High school diploma or GED, Valid Washington State Driver’s License, First Aid Card (required within one year of employment), Able to work after hours for emergency repairs, Ability to drive and back up large trucks and trailers, Able to work in confined spaces, Able to lift heavy and awkward rocks, broken asphalt, Able to work in harsh weather conditions

Nice to Have

Construction or plumbing experience equivalent to a laborer or apprentice, Water Utility experience, Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Familiar with hand tools for digging and wrenches for assembling pipe fittings

What You'll Do.

Perform general cleanup of grounds

Perform general cleanup of facilities

Assist with general maintenance

Install underground water main line

Excavate work area using hand tools

Install water services and meters

Clean and organize construction vehicles

Clean and organize heavy equipment

Flush services and water mains

Perform accuracy test on equipment

Operate system valves

Notify customers for shut-downs

Complete necessary paperwork

Maintain monthly vehicle reports

Assist above and below ground construction
