Industry & Context.
Regular travel to our Blackford laboratory, Full UK driving licence is essential, Continuous shift pattern, rotating between day and night shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off basis
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least 3 years’ experience in an FMCG laboratory environment, A full driving licence, Experience in microbiological testing of water samples, Knowledge of Natural Mineral Water regulations, Knowledge of membrane filtration techniques, Knowledge of HPLC systems, Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, communication skills, ability to prioritise work in a busy department
What You'll Do.
Carry out microbiological testing
Test flavoured waters
Interpret and report results
Ensure samples tested within timescales
Calibrate laboratory equipment
Support equipment maintenance
Carry out confirmation testing
Carry out proficiency testing
Carry out environmental monitoring
Report out-of-specification results
Support quarantine procedures
Monitor filtration and differential pressures
Support shelf-life testing
Support laboratory cleaning
