We are seeking a highly motivated **Automation Scientist**(m/f/d) to support Omics workflows. This is a lab-based role requiring hands-on experience in cutting-edge laboratory automation and strong expertise in biological sample handling. The position focuses on developing automated workflows and executing large-scale, standardized sample preparation across diverse biological applications for proteomics and metabolomics analysis. The successful candidate will design, program, and optimize automation solutions for complex laboratory processes and actively contribute to experimental work. A key aspect of the role is integrating automation platforms into biological workflows to improve throughput, robustness, and data quality. This role requires proven experience with automation systems (e.g. Tecan, Agilent Bravo, Firefly, or similar) combined with practical knowledge of proteomics and/or metabolomics sample processing. The candidate should be able to convert manual protocols into scalable and reliable automated workflows that deliver high-quality data. **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and implement automated workflows for biological sample processing across multiple assay types. * Operate and maintain liquid handling and robotic platforms (e.g. Tecan, Bravo), ensuring consistent performance. * Optimize and troubleshoot automated processes to improve efficiency and data quality. * Independently perform routine, standardized laboratory experiments, including planning, execution, and analysis. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the evaluation a
