Must Have
4 years medical technologist experience, 4 years histotechnologist experience, High complexity clinical laboratory setting experience, Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Bachelor's degree in chemical science, Bachelor's degree in biological science, Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, Current certification as Medical Technologist, Current certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist, Current certification as Histotechnician, Current certification as Histotechnologist, Eligible Georgia supervisor certification, Technical expertise for all procedures, Ability to oversee complex projects

Accounts for day-to-day patient testing within the laboratory, defined by either single cost center and/or greater than 10 but less than 30 full-time employees and/or limited specialized training. Actively promotes a lean work culture by performing group leader duties to encourage consistent use of Lean principles and processes, including continually seeking work process improvements. Assists leadership team with administrative and technical support as required. Recognizes necessity of staff to own their motivation, morale, performance, and professional development. Actively encourages performance and behavior consistent with a commitment to the lab’s and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's mission, goals, and values by providing the materials and processes necessary to be successful. **Experience** * 4 years of experience as a medical technologist or histotechnologist in a high complexity clinical laboratory setting **Preferred Qualifications** * N/A **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution **Certification Summary** * Current certification as a Medic
