Bachelor degree in science, 1 or more years of experience as Laboratory technician or Laboratory Analyst
Nice to Have
6 months are more experience in GMP environment, 1 or more years of experience in equipment management and calibration, 1 or more years of experience in HPLC, UPLC, ICE/Maurice, PA8000+

Full Job Description
Labcorp is seeking an onsite **Laboratory Instrumentation Technician** to join our brand new CMC facility and team **in Mechelen, Belgium.** **Work Schedule** Monday through Friday, day shift **Job Responsibilities** * Coordinate all equipment maintenance, calibration, qualification, installation and retirement activities with internal teams (Operations, Facilities Management) and external vendors. * Ensure all service providers meet GMP compliance requirements, including approved supplier status and appropriate documentation. * Act as the equipment subject matter expert (SME) and primary point of contact for technical questions, investigations, and study‑specific support. * Manage equipment downtime by maintaining and controlling “Do Not Use” tags and ensuring timely resolution of issues. * Lead or contribute to GMP quality activities, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and audit responses related to equipment. * Review technical and compliance documents from concept, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, SOPs, policies, and risk assessments. * Approve technical and vendor documentation completed by other associates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GMP requirements. * Support procurement by obtaining quotes, liaising with approved suppliers, and submitting purchase requests (POs/ePro). * Contribute to internal improvement initiatives by supporting projects designed to enhance business efficiency and streamline processes. * Complete, update, and maintain all equipment‑related GMP documentation, including SOPs, training records, qualification documents, MSRs, SARFs, URS, and validation records. * Ensure accurate creation and closure of Total Management System (TMS) forms and equipment work orders. * Maintain clear and compliant records of equipment failures, changes, and investigations in line with GMP standards. * Produce high‑quality written documentation that meets internal SOPs and regulatory expectations for equipment lifecycle management. * Ensure all
