Full Job Description

LGC ASSURE Sports & Specialised Analytical Services is an internationally recognised world-class testing laboratory that specialises in banned substance and anti-doping testing. We operate in 3 key categories: Animal sports medication and doping control, Human drug testing, and Supplement testing and product certification. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, proactive laboratory co-ordinator to join our Animal Sports team. As part of our team, you will deliver a high-quality lab support service to the Animal Sports team. This includes: * Acting as the central hub for communication with all teams within Animal Sports * Supporting routine maintenance and operation of analytical instrumentation (including mass spectrometers) * Ownership of and performing the essential tasks needed within the lab (i.e. stock checks, equipment issues, consumable shortages, reference collection management and extracted standard organisation and preparation) * Provide support in our Sample Management team as required We’re looking for a teammate who works flexibly, shows initiative, and brings forward new ideas. You’re hardworking with a positive attitude, manage your time efficiently, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard. This role is well suited to a candidate with laboratory experience, with training and support provided. ## Qualifications * Strong scientific background with practical understanding of biological or chemical laboratory work * Working knowledge of ISO 17025 and the ability to follow accredited quality standards * Excellent laboratory skills with a focus on accuracy, organisation, and safe working practices * Understanding of COSHH assessments within a laboratory environment ## Additional Information Our Values: 1.
