**Laboratory Analyst – Bioanalysis** Our largest UK site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst to join the BioAnalysis team. **Job Responsibilities:** • Undertaking routine analysis of samples using LC-MS/MS techniques • Working as part of a team alongside other analysts, study managers and technical specialists to perform bioanalytical testing services in accordance with GLP & GCP regulatory requirements • Performing sample preparation following multiple different sample preparation procedures (e.g Protein precipitation, Solid phase,, liquid-liquid, SLE, Derivatisation, Digestion) analysis and data interpretation in accordance with the study parameters to deliver study data to our clients in the agreed timescale • Utilizing various extraction techniques to develop an understanding of analytical method validation and assist in method development • Develop an understanding of Analytical method validation and support carrying out long-term stability experiments **Minimum Qualifications:** * Minimum BSc (Hons) scientific degree. * Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in a bioanalysis or analytical lab is an advantage * Ideally experience of using or knowledge of LCMS techniques and pipetting experience. This can be trained if familiar with other analytical techniques * An understanding of health and safety policies and of GMP/GLP/GCP regulations **Additional Job Standards:** * Excellent verbal and communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels. * Knowledge and practice of general health & safety, including personal protective equipment. * Knowledge and experience of scientific software packages As the Laboratory Analyst, you will work as part of a team alongside other lab analysts, study managers and project managers.
