What You'll Do.
Perform laboratory testing to meet standards
and test finished products
Enter data and generate reports
Audit CIP chemical concentrations
Prepare media and lab controls
Operate autoclave for sterilization
Assist with lab equipment PMs
Track enzyme and vitamin usage
Test incoming raw milk
Perform daily cleanup and review racking systems
Participate in environmental testing
Verify plant equipment sanitation
Conduct daily audits for sanitation and GMP
Evaluate end-of-code product
Evaluate in-process and finished product samples
and cleanliness standards

This opening is a graveyard position: 9:00 pm to 5:30 am with Wednesday/Thursday days off. Essential Duties Responsibilities: Laboratory testing to meet standards set forth in the PMO and in Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Products. Pulling, logging, and testing finished products and processing samples at required intervals. Data entry and report generation utilizing all lab equipment and software. Audit CIP chemical concentrations and ensure compliance to company specifications. Must be able to prepare media and other lab controls. Operate autoclave to sterilize plates and equipment as needed while ensuring sterility tests are accurate. Assist in all lab equipment PMs. Tracking enzyme and vitamin usage utilizing various logs. Testing of all incoming raw milk including flavor, antibiotic testing, DMC, DMSCC and cryoscope. Responsible for the daily cleanup and review of racking systems in the incubators and cooler to set up for shelf life testing. Participate in environmental testing in and around plant that including : air plating, water sampling, etc. Verifies that plant equipment meets sanitation requirements prio
