Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, Experience in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field, Experience using customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, Knowledge and experience with foundational machinery safety standards, Experience leading safety engineering programs in R&D, manufacturing, or production environment, Deep knowledge and experience of safety risk assessment, functional safety analysis and electrical safety
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Health and Safety or related field, Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean methodology techniques, Deep knowledge and extensive experience of driving safety systematically into R&D labs and/or production systems
What You'll Do.
Own EHS compliance for robotics R&D lab
Conduct risk assessments
Influence implementation of risk reduction measures
Advise employees and management on occupational health and
Advise and influence designs around machinery safety requirements
Implement legal and internal requirements
Work with various support functions
Ensure compliance with Massachusetts laws
Complete necessary formalities to comply
Evaluate accidents and statistics
Develop prevention programs to avoid accidents
Create a safe work culture
Promote commitment to occupational health and safety measures
Cooperate with local fire brigade
Cooperate with occupational health and safety authorities
Maintain relationships with professional associations
