What You'll Do.
Prepare classroom experiments
Maintain adequate stock of equipment and supplies
Keep inventory of equipment
Track expiration dates of products
Ensure supplies are organized and accessible
Maintain equipment in laboratories and classrooms
Perform minor repairs and maintenance
Inform supervisor of need for major repairs
Assist in implementation of safety procedures
Identify and report potential safety hazards
Assist in disposal of used supplies/products
Organize and maintain lab rooms
Wash and refill empty containers
Collect trash from containers
Put away unused clean containers
Adjust and clean screens and monitors
Clean spills and equipment
forms and system data
Perform data entry and copying
Maintain confidentiality of records
Dispose of used supplies properly and safely
Assist supervisor in monitoring work
Assist in coordination of troubleshooting
Assist faculty in use of equipment
Connect and disconnect equipment and tools
Cross-train in various functions
Attend department and division meetings
Participate in professional development training
Represent department at college and community events
Perform other duties as assigned
Maintain all standards in accordance with college policies
