What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, Safety, or a related field., 8 + years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or safety roles, with direct exposure to logistics safety risk management., Proven experience driving safety programmes in complex, multicounty operations, preferably across Latin America., Demonstrated experience managing chemical dangerous goods safety and chemical warehousing risk management, including handling, storage, transportation, and regulatory compliance requirements in logistics operations, hands-on experience leading incident investigations and Root Cause Analyses (RCA) with a focus on systemic and preventive actions., Demonstrated experience defining, monitoring, and managing safety KPIs (leading and lagging indicators)., Solid understanding of transportation safety, chemical transfer risk, contractor safety, and logistics operational risks., Experience conducting field engagement activities such as gemba walks, site audits, and ride along programmes., Ability to influence and lead without direct authority, engaging cross functional stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Safety)., analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior leadership., Willingness to travel frequently within the LA region., Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

Professional safety certifications (e. g. The Logistics Safety Leader for Latin America is responsible for defining, driving, and sustaining the regional **logistics safety strategy**, ensuring consistent deployment of logistics safety programmes and governance across all LA operations. The role focuses on strengthening our Safety Culture, across the region by promoting safety leadership, ownership, and accountability at all levels. The person will be responsible for driving our continuous logistics safety improvements through robust KPIs monitoring, field engagement, and cross functional collaboration.
