Full Job Description

As China is the growing market for passenger cars, we are currently looking for an experienced expert who shares the same passion and enthusiasm for driving our China specific development for providing the best Parking System to our customers. We are located in Beijing (Wangjing and Yizhuang) and Shanghai Pudong. Our development team is fully responsible and driving the development of the Autonomous Parking for Mercedes-Benz cars. As Parking System Function Owner in the Automated Parking product team, you are responsible for defining the detailed system elements for our product development, especially ensuring in-time and in-quality development of our internal and external (development) partners. You will design & develop MB Automated Parking Systems for China market together with RD teams in China, Germany, RD India and different suppliers and will take care of a set of advanced parking features, such as Memory parking, Park to Park, advanced remote parking, AVP/L4 Parking, etc. By designing the cross-overall system functions for these parking functionalities, we will fulfill the China and global regulation/rating/certification, China specific requirements, etc. You will work on overall system function issue detection and recognition, lead issue analysis and tech solution determination, and lead the tech strategy launch. You will lead the system function in vehicle testing based on your defined test cases and support the HIL/SIL testing and address the root causes and drive the issue fixing. Your will work in collaboration with China stakeholders like Marketing, Product management, China requirement, Quality, Overall Vehicle Testing and other internal Project teams on Chinese customer study and research, provide completive parking product to our customers.
