What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1 year EDD, AML or Financial Crime compliance experience, Familiarity with legal and regulatory documents
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field, ICA, CAMS, or equivalent certification
What You'll Do.
Review high risk customer reports
Analyze customer transaction history
Conduct periodic reviews
Analyze changes in customer history
Exercise discretion in setting priorities
Identify customer records requiring review
Obtain and follow-up on information
Ensure documentation meets risk appetite
Conduct in depth analysis
Perform internet searches
Communicate with internal teams
Provide guidance on high risk approvals
Maintain understanding of AML/CFT Regulations
Lead projects related to SMA Team processes
Assist in identifying improvement opportunities
Contribute to policy updates
Draft reports to stakeholders
Understand business models
Understand customer types
Understand country risks
Understand regulatory requirements
Support internal and external audits
Respond to regulatory process queries
Mentor Senior Management Approval Analysts
Provide training and coaching
Communicate with customers
Perform tasks within KPIs
Participate in meetings
Participate in training
